Conditions Of Entry
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, entry to The Ginger Factory (located at 50 Pioneer Road, Yandina QLD 4561) is subject to
the following terms and conditions. These conditions are set by Buderim Foods Pty Ltd (BF) and apply to all visitors. Failure to comply may result in
refusal of entry or removal from the premises.
Operating Hours & Pricing
The Ginger Factory is open to the public on days and times as determined by BF and published on signage or the official website. BF reserves the
right to amend pricing and operating hours without prior notice.
Supervision of Children
Children under 13 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult or legal guardian (minimum age 16). Children under 142 cm must be
accompanied by a paying adult on the Overboard Boat Ride and Ginger Train. Children must be supervised at all times.
Conduct & Behaviour
Offensive behaviour, queue jumping, theft, and vandalism will not be tolerated. Guests must follow all signage, safety instructions, and directions
from staff. Shirts and footwear must be worn at all times. Clothing displaying offensive, discriminatory, or obscene language or imagery is not
permitted.
Wildlife & Environmental Hazards
The Ginger Factory is an open-air park with diverse natural wildlife, including native bees and insects. Guests with allergies or sensitivities should
exercise caution. BF accepts no liability for any incidents or allergic reactions resulting from wildlife interactions.
Water Hazards & Walking Surfaces
The Ginger Factory features a variety of outdoor paths, garden areas, and open waterways. Please take care when walking throughout the park. Some
surfaces may be uneven, sloped, or affected by weather conditions. To help prevent slips, trips, or falls, guests should:
• Wear appropriate footwear
• Remain attentive to their surroundings
• Supervise children and vulnerable persons closely
BF accepts no liability for injuries resulting from failure to take reasonable care when navigating the premises, including areas near open waterways.
Smoking, Vaping & Prohibited Substances
Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises. Guests found smoking or vaping may
be asked to leave. The following items are also not permitted: alcohol, illegal drugs, glassware, weapons, fireworks, sharp objects, flammable liquids,
and outside food or beverages.
Vehicles & Personal Property
Vehicles parked on-site are at the owner’s risk. BF is not liable for loss or damage to vehicles or contents. Wheelchairs, prams, and strollers may be
used but are left unattended at the owner’s risk.
Restricted Areas & Equipment
Guests must not enter non-public or staff-only areas. Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades, drones, frisbees, balls, kites, and similar items are
not permitted. Personal mobility devices (e.g., wheelchairs, prams, electric scooters) are allowed.
Animals
No animals may be brought onto the Premises, except service dogs. Guide dogs and assistance animals are permitted in accordance with section 9 of
the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. We also reserve the right to require evidence relating to your assistance animal or its training in accordance
with section 54A(5) of the Act.
Attractions & Closures
BF may close any part of the park, including attractions, tours, or tastings, at any time due to weather, maintenance, safety, or other operational
reasons. No compensation will be provided for closures.
Surveillance & Safety
Video surveillance is in operation for the safety of guests and staff. BF reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests for any reason, including
failure to comply with these conditions.
Photography & Media
Personal photography and video are permitted for private use only. By entering, guests consent to BF capturing and using images or video of them
for promotional purposes. These images may be used globally in any format without compensation. Guests may not display offensive, obscene, or
inappropriate content.
Liability Waiver
Entry to the premises is conditional upon guests releasing BF, its officers, agents, and employees from all liability for injury, loss, or damage to
persons or property, including minors under their supervision. This waiver does not affect BF’s liability under applicable State or Federal legislation.
Companion Card Holders
BF offers free entry to carers accompanying a valid Companion Card holder. The cardholder must purchase a ticket for their chosen experience(s).
Valid Companion Cards must be presented at the ticket desk.
Amendments
BF reserves the right to amend these conditions at any time without prior notice
