Young@art 2008

Young emerging artists are being given the opportunity to display their work at the Young@Art 2008 exhibition when it opens during October 2008 at The Ginger Factory.

Young@art showcases local talent and provides an opportunity for artists between the ages of 6 and 25 who haven’t previously exhibited. Prizes are awarded by age group and medium used.

Young@art 2008 calls for entries based on the theme of “art inspired by life.” Entry forms will be available soon and entries must be submitted by 1st October 2008.

The exhibition will be open to the public every day from 9am to 4.30pm at The Ginger Factory.

Santa’s Secret Workshop:

checking it twice … finding out who’s naughty and nice!  And from 6th December until Christmas Eve, Santa
and his Elves have set-up a secret workshop at The Ginger Factory. Sneak at peek at how the toys are made, Santa’a suit is cleaned and the sleigh is packed and ready for the big night.  But don’t forget … Santa takes off at sunset on Christmas Eve to deliver the presents … don’t miss out!  All Admissions $5.00 or $2.00 with any Overboard Ticket purchase.

Ginger Flower Festival
Thursday January 22nd – Sunday January 25th
